We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join our team at St. Francis Veterinary Clinic in Green Forest, Arkansas.
About the Clinic:
Our clinic is a well-established, fast-paced veterinary practice that provides medical care to the small and large animal community. Our case load consists of 50% small animal, 10% exotic animal, and 40% large animal. We offer a wide range of services, including preventative care, surgery, urgent care, dentistry, in-house diagnostics, digital full-body radiology, ultrasonography, bovine reproductive health, and medical and/or vacation boarding.

Our clinic is located in a quiet town in Northwest Arkansas, providing a great work-life balance. The proximity to Harrison or Eureka Springs allows for easy commute to Fayetteville or Branson, Missouri. Our area offers popular activities such as hiking, fishing, swimming, and camping.

Qualifications:
- Full-time mixed animal veterinarian
- Compassionate, team player, and strong communicator
- Experienced DVM or new graduate
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or completed PAVE or ECFVG candidate
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Arkansas
- Current DEA license or obtained upon hire
Working Conditions:
- Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods of time
- Ability to be confident around animals (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.)
- Client needs and work volume may occasionally require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties
- Must have mental capacity and processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics, and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform duties proficiently
- The noise level in the work environment is moderately high
- Job requires sufficient ambulatory skills to perform required duties
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate other equipment as required
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
