About the Role:

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage sales processes, communicate effectively with clients, and seek new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement rate strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue across seasons.
  • Oversee activities of Front Office, Facilities, and Housekeeping departments, ensuring adherence to standards and hotel policies.
  • Utilize coaching, training, and correction techniques to enhance staff performance.
  • Resolve complaints, disturbances, special requests, and social media reviews through effective problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Assign duties, observe performance, and maintain Overall Satisfaction Score goals.
  • Provide comprehensive training to staff and supervisors, fostering an engaged, valued, and successful work environment.
  • Select hotel staff, complete new hire paperwork, and manage payroll tasks.
  • Manage operating expenses, purchasing, and coordinate cross-departmental communication to maintain high-quality services.
  • Cover shifts within all departments when necessary for continuous property operation.
  • Perform daily property inspections, monitoring guest rooms, public spaces, and departmental performance.
  • Ensure property, grounds, physical plant, and work areas are maintained to standard.
