Perdue Foods, a key player in the poultry industry, is seeking an innovative leader to manage the Marination operations at their facility. The Marination Operations Supervisor will be tasked with overseeing production processes and optimizing efficiency within a processing and/or cooking plant segment. This position requires providing mentorship, training, and support to Team Leaders and production staff, focusing on meeting production objectives while ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and oversee operational and capital budgets for the designated area
- Achieve facility performance targets related to yield, efficiency, safety, and employee morale
- Implement training initiatives to improve supervisory and production capabilities
- Facilitate operational enhancements and improve product quality
- Align with company objectives through strategic planning and effective communication
- Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Agriculture, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of pertinent work experience
- Familiarity with HACCP, SPC, and operational efficiency methodologies
- Demonstrated success in leadership and delivering results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Work Environment:
This role requires physical mobility to handle equipment and access materials. The position involves exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels typical of a production facility. Adherence to safety protocols and the use of appropriate protective equipment is mandatory.
