MVP Consulting Inc is seeking a skilled Cobol developer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Cobol applications for the Client 2200 series.
  • Utilize Client ECL, TIP, and DMS 2200/RDMS to ensure efficient system performance.
  • Monitor production work and perform error diagnostic/debugging activities in a mainframe environment.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to integrate systems using Service Oriented Architecture.

Requirements:

  • 60-84 months of experience working with Cobol 74 and/or 85 programming.
  • 48 months of experience utilizing Client ECL, TIP, and DMS 2200/RDMS.
  • 48 months of experience monitoring production work and performing error diagnostic/debugging activities.
  • Desirable to have 36 months of experience performing system to system integration with a third-party vendor.
