Landscaping Specialist

Job Title: Groundskeeper/Van Transport

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Groundskeeper/Van Transport. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of our landscaped areas, gardens, and lawns, as well as operating and maintaining our transportation van.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a positive experience during their stay.
• Maintain equipment storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Plant, transplant, or remove flowers, shrubs, and decorative grasses to enhance the appearance of our landscaped areas.
• Maintain pool and spa areas, ensuring they are clean and safe for guests to use.
• Maintain the appearance of our parking lot, including removing trash and debris.
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment and machinery, such as power lifts, power washers, and transport vans.
• Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including helping with hotel maintenance duties and maintaining general documentation.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and have knowledge of the local area and its attractions.
• Knowledge of tools, methods, and materials used in grounds maintenance and ability to operate motorized equipment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history.
• Ability to read and understand product labels for chemicals used.
• Ability to lift over 50lbs.
