About the Role

As an MDS Coordinator or Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator at Windsor Health & Rehabilitation Center LLC, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for our patients. You will work closely with our healthcare team to assess patient needs and develop effective care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient information to determine potential PDPM and associated expenses
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of MDS processes
  • Stay up-to-date on Medicare regulations and provide guidance to nursing staff
  • Monitor CMI scores and identify potential risks to Medicaid reimbursement

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a related field, such as nursing or healthcare administration
  • RAC Certification preferred
  • Familiarity with RUGs, PDPM, and Case Mix index
  • Valid state Registered Nurse license
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
