Job Overview

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in the diagnostic process at Memorial Hospital of Laramie County, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging services. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist in performing various diagnostic ultrasound procedures, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Assist physicians in designated procedures, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Maintain equipment quality control, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Promote a positive work environment by fostering effective communication and collaboration with colleagues, patients, and families.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology or current ARDMS license.
  • Eligibility for ARDMS or ARRT registry in ultrasound – must be completed within 12 months of hire date.
  • Cheyenne Regional RQI within 14 calendar days of start date.
