About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Painter Spray A to join our team at The Boeing Company. As an Aircraft Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our aircraft, missiles, and space vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing corrosion, paint stripping, and applying protective coatings.
- Perform rework and touch-up painting, including spray and brush applications, to meet Boeing's specifications.
- Prepare and set up paint materials, equipment, and supplies for each work assignment.
- Operate ovens and ensure proper curing and air filtering equipment are functioning.
- Monitor and maintain time-sensitive materials and processes.
- Screen work instructions to support division of work for incoming orders.
- Part mark and wrap parts/assemblies as required.
- Obtain and maintain necessary certifications and qualifications.
- Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 35 pounds.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED.
This is a 2nd shift position located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
