We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Nephrology Associates of. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Manage Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health problems, including ordering laboratory and radiology tests and interpreting results.
- Prescribe Medications: Order and prescribe medications, including controlled substances, within the scope of practice.
- Provide Patient Education: Educate patients on healthy lifestyle information, treatment plans, and medication management.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work in tandem with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and establish mutual goals.
- Document Patient Information: Accurately document patient records, including test results, treatment plans, and patient interactions.
- Education and Certification: Master's Degree in Nursing or Science of Nursing, Current Nurse Practitioner Certification from AANP or ANCC, and Current Nursing License as a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a practicing Certified Nurse Practitioner, with prior experience in Nephrology, Cardiology, ICU, or CCU preferred.
- Skills: Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, self-started with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment, patient-focused with strong communication and organizational skills.
