Overview:

OptiMindHealth (OMH) is a leading clinician-led behavioral health company seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our integrated care team model. As a PMHNP-BC, you will participate in providing holistic and cost-effective mental health care to patients in Massachusetts and Colorado.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medication management and individual psychotherapy to patients with various behavioral health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance misuse, and other psychiatric impairments.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, licensed clinical psychologists, and licensed mental health professionals, to provide coordinated and collaborative care to patients.
  • Customize care for each patient, determining the frequency and duration of sessions, and selecting the most appropriate forms of clinical work, such as medication management, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing.

  • Focus on patient care without additional on-call responsibilities, as our back-office support team handles billing, collections, credentialing, and other administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience working with patients with various behavioral health issues.
  • Successful completion of the PMHNP-BC exam is preferred.
