POSITION REQUIREMENTS(Key Responsibilities)
  • Leverage your knowledge in product design, assembly, tooling, and materials to improve manufacturing processes and uphold customer quality expectations.
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating tooling needs for production.
  • Provide technical evaluations of non-conforming components through the MRB process.
  • Implement root cause analysis utilizing 8D methodology to resolve quality challenges.
  • Design manufacturing processes and tooling for the fabrication of composite and metal components, establish workflows, and create manufacturing documentation.
  • Deliver technical support for a smooth transition to production, ensuring that production goals and startup timelines are achieved.
  • Conduct engineering trials and prototype constructions as required.
  • Engage in the development of bids and proposals for RFQ submissions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain effective communication, and foster strong working relationships.
  • Support internal documentation systems in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Comply with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform additional assigned tasks as necessary.
SKILL SET(Key Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Expertise in metalworking processes such as laser cutting, brake press forming, GMAW, and TIG welding.
  • Familiarity with composite and metalworking manufacturing techniques and tooling optimization.
  • Knowledge of hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, adhesive bonding methods, including autoclave and hot press techniques.
  • Strong understanding of materials and processes involved in armor and tactical vehicle manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Experience in root cause analysis and resolving technical issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project software.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP system is advantageous.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role involves alternating between sitting and standing, working at a desk, and extensive computer use. Regular movement within the facility is required, along with occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds. Employees should be prepared to work in an environment with noise, heat, and dust, with potential exposure to fumes and chemicals necessitating PPE.

Working Hours: 4/10's - Monday through Thursday, with every Friday off.
