Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Note: Employee will participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Respiratory Therapist, you will conduct comprehensive pulmonary assessments and administer respiratory therapy interventions aimed at addressing patient respiratory needs. This includes the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data derived from diagnostic evaluations.
- Facilitate patient care by performing pulmonary function assessments and collaborating with the medical team to interpret results.
- Maintain meticulous documentation in patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory therapy apparatus.
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Preferred prior experience in a clinical setting.
- BCLS Certification.
- Current Iowa Respiratory Care Practitioner license obtained post-completion of the entry-level RRT examination from the NBRC.
- Active pursuit of RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
