Job Summary

Germanna Community College is seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Adjunct to join our faculty team. As a Mathematics Adjunct, you will be responsible for teaching mathematics courses to students with varying academic backgrounds and experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach mathematics courses in a classroom environment, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote learning.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse student populations.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Stay current with developments in mathematics education and incorporate best practices into teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • At least 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics.
  • Ability to teach mathematics courses at various levels.
  • Experience with online teaching and learning management systems.
  • Commitment to student engagement and success.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of teaching experience.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and online course development.
  • Substantial experience with teaching mathematics courses in a regionally accredited institution.
