Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5am - 1:30pm

Compensation: $17.25 / hour with an additional night shift differential for late-night hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse to meet established standards.
  • Regularly empty trash receptacles and clean waste areas; operate trash compactors as needed.
  • Rotate through product bays for cleaning and scrubbing.
  • Address spills or breakages promptly; assess damages to determine resale potential or disposal in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks as assigned (e.g., changing light bulbs, collecting recyclables, monitoring freezers and coolers for leaks).
  • Document cleaning schedules, spill incidents, and product damages through various reports; may also manage maintenance supply orders.
  • Clean additional areas within the warehouse and office spaces, including break rooms and restrooms.
  • Ensure cleanliness of facility grounds and dumpster locations.
  • Utilize cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, pallet jacks, and high lifts as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education/Training: High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience: Previous cleaning or custodial experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and write clearly; follow instructions; possess basic math skills; work independently.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation, including reach trucks, pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers.
