Behavioral Coach for Elementary Schools

Tact Community Services Inc is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Coach to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the implementation and evaluation of the PAX Good Behavior Game (GBG) Program in elementary schools.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary range for this position is $42,000 - $44,000 per year, with opportunities for pay increases after 3 and 6 months. This full-time, non-exempt position comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
Job DescriptionAs a Behavioral Coach, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate, plan, and oversee the delivery, implementation, and evaluation of the PAX GBG Program in one or more schools. You will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of program objectives.
You will draw on your array of experiences seeing PAX GBG in action in multiple settings and classrooms, as well as the strategies offered in the PAX Manual. Your role will involve:
- Maintaining program requirements, including fostering positive relationships with teachers and staff, modeling PAX GBG, and providing effective feedback.
- Demonstrating flexibility with plans and schedules, adjusting and spending extra time to solve problems and promote PAX GBG.
- Providing encouragement and enthusiasm for introducing PAX GBG to students and fitting it into classroom routine.
- Sharing ideas about how to enhance the effectiveness of PAX GBG and using it to help students with high needs.
You will also be responsible for conducting weekly site visits to each PAX GBG classroom, providing support, coaching, modeling, and feedback. Additionally, you will collaborate with district, funders, and supervisors to strengthen PAX GBG at each site.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in an educational, behavioral, or related human service field.
- Minimum 5 years of school-based setting experience providing behavioral or educational programming, services to children; and leadership experience desirable.
- Demonstrated capacity in school-based program implementation, training, coaching, and evaluation skills.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills, excellent time management, ability to build strong relationships, computer skills including Excel, leadership, highly organized, and attentive to detail.
This position involves extensive walking and driving, possibly lifting up to 20 pounds. All requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
