Full-Time Facilities Superintendent – Affordable Housing Sector

CRM Rental Management, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Facilities Superintendent to oversee maintenance operations within our residential properties. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe and pleasant living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall condition and upkeep of the property.
  • Assist the Regional Director of Maintenance in fulfilling operational duties, ensuring a secure and comfortable atmosphere for all.
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team effectively.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents and team members.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and service professionals.
  • Diagnose and perform a range of maintenance tasks, both minor and major.
  • Manage inventory and supplies efficiently.
  • Establish and uphold preventative maintenance and safety standards.
  • Report directly to the Regional Director of Maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • A strong desire for professional growth and development.
  • At least 3 years of full-time maintenance experience.
  • Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and inspire a team.
  • Willingness to undertake various tasks as needed.
  • Commitment to safety and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
  • Familiarity with HUD standards (REAC) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and various household appliances.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive and confident demeanor.
  • Able to engage with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Must possess basic tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • All candidates will undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
