Lead Preventive Medicine Physician for U.S. Army Reserve

As a preventive medicine physician with the U.S. Army Reserve, you will play a vital role in enhancing the health and well-being of our Soldiers. **Salary:** The estimated annual salary for this position is $75,000, paid in three yearly increments of $25,000. In addition, eligible specialties may receive Health Professional Special Pay of up to $250,000, applied toward qualified school loans over four years.
Job Description
As a preventive medicine officer, your duties will include:
- Creating and implementing programs that improve physical fitness, prevent disease, and reduce injury
- Overseeing the development and execution of health promotion initiatives
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality medical care to our Soldiers
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy
- Current licensure to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education internship
- Completion of a training program in preventive medicine
- Between 21 and 42 years of age
