Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
Experience: Minimum 1 year in ER, L&D, and Med Surg; preference for experience in Critical Access Hospital
License: Alaska State License (Pending license accepted)
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in the ER, with the ability to float to Labor & Delivery and Medical-Surgical units as needed
- Work within a small Critical Access Hospital environment with 11 acute care beds
- Accommodate variable shifts with a requirement to work some weekends
- Be open to floating within scope to meet facility needs
- Accept hospital-provided housing and transportation for the duration of the assignment
- Adhere to facility guidelines regarding time off and vehicle use
- Required to work two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
- Demonstrate proficiency with Epic charting system
- Provide references covering one year of employment within the last three years
- Must comply with facility's vaccination policies
