Senior Welder

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Welder to join our team in Los Alamitos, CA. As a key member of our aerospace manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and welding aerospace products, particularly flex joints. Your expertise in TIG welding and Heliarc welding will be essential in ensuring high-quality and productivity in all welding assignments.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating welding machines
• Following strict manufacturing processes
• Ensuring high-quality and productivity in all welding assignments
• Providing guidance on maintenance and procurement related to welding equipment
• Mentoring and assisting other welders
• Developing new weld schedules as needed

You will also be responsible for troubleshooting welding issues, identifying and correcting weld defects, and manufacturing shop aides for welding purposes. Achieving internal certification for working with materials such as stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and aluminum alloy within 90 days is required.

• TIG welding experience
• Heliarc welding experience
• Sheet metal handling experience
• Machine setup and operation
• Engineering drawing interpretation
