Trash Collector (2nd Shift) Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Trash Collector (2nd Shift) to join our team at Valet Living. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for collecting trash from residents' doorsteps and transporting it to the onsite trash compactor at the apartment community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect trash from residents' doorsteps and transport it to the onsite trash compactor
  • Use our company's App to take required photos (arrival, departure, tracking, non-compliance) during service
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Adapt to changing weather conditions and work in a variety of outdoor environments
  • Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements:
  • A reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance in your name (or listed as a driver on policy) for your vehicle
  • Ability to climb up and down staircases/steps multiple times throughout the evening
  • Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize our mobile app
  • No prior experience necessary; we provide hands-on, paid training from day one

  • Hourly pay: Starting at $16/hr with your truck or trailer
  • The option to get paid daily with the app DailyPay
