Responsibilities

* Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach, collaborating with primary care physicians, specialty physicians, and other service providers to identify patients in need of care coordination.
* Administers treatments in a manner that improves clinical outcomes and reduces risk or cost, ensuring delivery of preventive services, health promotion activities, and other interventions that proactively address potential risks.
* Participates in policy and procedure development, continuing education, continuous quality improvement, research, and/or evidenced-based practice.
* Engages in the 'workplace community' by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and representing staff at relevant meetings and then reporting important information and updates back to staff.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: BSN
LICENSURE: Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio.
SKILLS: Clinical skill and knowledge in the nursing care of children, including normal growth and development, and/or clinical expertise in specialized areas required.
