Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the meat department, to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Support the sales and merchandising efforts of the meat department, including stocking shelves, rotating product, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist with receiving and processing meat deliveries, including unloading and storing products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display efforts to create an attractive and appealing store environment.
  • Collaborate with other sales associates and department managers to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time, with frequent bending and reaching.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably in the meat department.
  • Knowledge of meat products and cutting techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
