About the Role:
Elevate patient care as a Physiotherapist at ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, a 114-bed community hospital in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, our emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients annually.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide direct patient care through evaluation, treatment, and education according to age and condition. You will also actively seek opportunities to improve your knowledge and skills, as well as those of others.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care by evaluating, setting goals, designing treatment programs, performing treatments, re-evaluating and modifying treatments, participating in discharge planning, and providing patient/caregiver education.
  • Complete documentation requirements promptly, accurately, and thoroughly according to policies.
  • Communicate and interact with other healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Meet clinical productivity standards and participate in quality improvement activities.
  • Assist in developing, revising, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree from an APTA Accredited school of Physical Therapy.
  • Current valid license or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
