We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team at Mass General Brigham. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with neurological diagnoses.
About the RoleThis is a 12-hour shift position, and you will be working in a 22-bed adult ICU. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that includes doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with neurological diagnoses
- Administer medications and perform procedures as prescribed by doctors
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to doctors
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in unit-based research efforts and quality improvement initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a BSN degree and current licensure in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse. Neuro and critical care experience are preferred, but candidates with experience in general acute care and a strong interest in the neuroscience specialty will also be considered.
