Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at a facility in Peoria, Illinois. As a Radiation Therapist, you will work under the guidance of an oncologist and physicist to prepare patients for radiation treatments and administer treatments for cancer and other conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiation treatments, including taking precise measurements and fitting them with specialized equipment.
  • Administer radiation treatments under the guidance of an oncologist and physicist.
  • Monitor patients' responses to treatment, including side effects, and adjust treatment schedules or doses as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with a medical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in radiation therapy.
  • Active Illinois license and certification.
  • ARRT and BLS certification required.
  • Experience with Varian Truebeam and Aria systems.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with a 5x8 schedule and no weekends or holidays.
