Job Title: Occupational Therapist

The Fall River Public School District is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with students with disabilities to implement the prescribed occupational therapy process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and/or graduate students and clinical fellows
  • Provide consultation to general education and special education staff regarding student needs and best practices
  • Administer standardized assessment tools and provide recommendations to teams
  • Monitor student progress and adapt the environment to meet individual needs
  • Meet district, state, and federal requirements for the program
  • Create a positive educational environment for all students
Requirements:
  • Masters degree preferred
  • Current certification through the Board of Allied Health Professions
  • Prior experience working in an educational setting
  • Demonstrate collaborative instructional ability
  • Experience working with students with disabilities
