Respiratory Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Seattle, Washington.
As a Pulmonary Care Professional, you will provide high-quality respiratory care and diagnostic services to patients in various settings. Your expertise will play a crucial role in determining the most effective treatment modalities for our patients.
About the Role:
You will work closely with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans that meet their unique needs. This includes providing respiratory assessments, treatments, and modalities per protocol and as prescribed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and modalities to achieve optimal outcomes
- Support patient care and customer service by performing EKGs, blood draws, transporting patients, and participating in patient safety rounds and huddles
- Communicate effectively to ensure optimal safety and quality outcomes; document all assessments, interventions, and effectiveness of treatments
Requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a respiratory care practitioner working in acute care settings
- Graduate of a one (1) or two (2) year respiratory therapy program or equivalent experience/education
- Respiratory Care Practitioner License (Washington) required at hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience as a respiratory care practitioner working in acute care settings
- Experience with all acute respiratory care modalities, including ventilators, arterial blood gas analysis, and emergency respiratory procedures
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
