VMware Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled VMware Expert to join our team at Beacon Hill Technologies. As a VMware Expert, you will be responsible for managing UNIX operating systems and services, installing, configuring, and tuning Sun Oracle servers, and maintaining Red Hat Satellite and Spacewalk platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage UNIX operating systems and services
• Install, configure, and tune Sun Oracle servers
• Maintain Red Hat Satellite and Spacewalk platforms
• Build and upgrade VMware ESXi environments
• Develop and test Java scripts for HP Smarts network management
• Address performance and configuration issues in UNIX environments
• Perform daily checks, patch management, backups, and audits to ensure system health

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of UNIX operating systems and services
• Experience with Sun Oracle servers and Red Hat Satellite and Spacewalk platforms
• Proficiency in VMware ESXi and vCenter
• Ability to develop and test Java scripts
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
