Position Summary:
Anthony's Beach Cafe is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, and operate the bar, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
- Take drink orders from guests and prepare and serve drinks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Mix ingredients for cocktails and serve wine and beer.
- Take food orders from guests seated at the bar and ring orders in the POS system.
- Collect payments and make change.
- Wash glassware and prepare drink garnishes.
- Follow strict guidelines to prevent over-service or serving minors.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a high-volume bar is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Must be able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
