Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Registration Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Hinsdale. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients are properly registered for all service lines, performing eligibility verification, and obtaining pre-cert and/or authorizations. You will also work closely with clinical partners to ensure open communication and provide exemplary service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Registers patients for all services, achieving department-specific accuracy goals
- Performs eligibility verification, obtains pre-cert and/or authorizations, makes financial arrangements, requests and receives payments for services
- Maintains a close working relationship with clinical partners to ensure continual open communication between clinical, ancillary, and patient access departments
- Actively participates in extending exemplary service to both internal and external customers and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School degree or equivalent required
- One year or more of relevant healthcare experience preferred
- Prior collections experience preferred
- One or more years of customer service experience preferred
About the Role:
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. As a valued member of our team, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. You will also have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities to help you grow in your career.
Schedule:
This role requires a 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Monday - Friday schedule with alternating weekends.
