Dental Care Specialist

At Specialty Dental Brands, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing patients for dental procedures by explaining treatment options and ensuring they are comfortable and relaxed.
- Assisting dentists with infection control, sterilization, and disinfection of instruments and equipment.
- Recording patient medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment information in our electronic health records system.
- Providing patients with information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs.
- Ordering dental supplies and maintaining inventory of dental equipment.
- Assisting with dental procedures, including taking x-rays and preparing materials.
- Providing postoperative instructions and follow-up care as directed by the dentist.
- Caring for dental equipment and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Bilingual required.
- At least 1 year of dental administration experience.
- Self-motivated, organized, and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Excellent public relations skills.
- Ability to work well with patients and team members.
- Experience in delivering high-level customer service.
- Committed to arriving on time daily and staying late as needed.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
