Job Title: Intervention Specialist

At Educational Empowerment Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Intervention Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality special education services to students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in the classroom and in small group settings.
  • Monitor student progress and make data-driven decisions to inform instruction.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure that students receive the support they need at home.
  • Stay up-to-date on all laws and regulations related to special education, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
Requirements:
  • Current Mild to Moderate Intervention Specialist licensure in Ohio.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet established deadlines and priorities.
