Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at Medical City Plano. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and position patients on the CT table with care and precision.
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and perform other necessary procedures.
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions and ensure a smooth transition to the next step in their care.
  • Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
  • Registered ARRT with RT(R)(CT) CT registration required.
  • BCLS required upon hire.
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
  • On-call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call-back.
