Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Floor Staff member to join our team at Regal Cinemas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience at the cinema.
Key Responsibilities:
- Box Office:
- Operate the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment with accuracy and efficiency.
- Upsell and suggest premium viewing experiences, such as D-Box, RPX, and IMAX.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program and encourage guests to join.
- Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Concession:
- Operate the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment with accuracy and efficiency.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program and encourage guests to join.
- Prepare and clean concession-related equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests.
- Upsell and suggest concession items.
- Comply with local, state, and federal food safety laws.
- Ensure required alcohol certification and training are current, where applicable.
- Usher:
- Tear tickets, collect and deposit stubs, and direct guests to their auditoriums.
- Inspect backpacks and packages, as necessary.
- Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats in auditoriums.
- Enforce the MPAA rating system.
- Conduct in-theater inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, prevent film and content theft, and maintain a safe environment.
- Report any problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations to management.
- Perform in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales, as directed by management.
- Clean auditoriums after scheduled shows and maintain clean restrooms, lobby areas, hallways, and other areas outside of the auditorium.
- Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theater vending equipment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Completion of the cast certification program as a cast member and box office cashier, or progress towards completion.
- Required alcohol certification and training, where applicable.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.
- Ability to identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes of problems.
- Ability to evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence.
- Ability to perform under pressure and/or opposition.
- Excellent communication skills with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Ability to establish goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve desired objectives.
