Job Title: Tax Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior to join our dynamic Finance team at Jobot. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in supervising and managing a range of tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the company's business goals.
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
  • Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to identify potential tax savings and strategies.
  • Collaborate with other finance professionals to manage tax planning, forecasting, and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tax regulations and changes, ensuring the company's tax policies and procedures are in compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders on tax-related issues.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax.
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax information clearly and effectively to non-tax professionals.
  • High level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
