Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff
  • Perform general administrative duties as requested by physicians and office managers
  • Take vital signs and document information in patient electronic medical records, including prescription reconciliations
  • Update patient records with new information during each visit
  • Process prior authorizations and refill requests in the Electronic Medical Record system
  • Answer phone calls from patients and assist them or take messages for the physician

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical principles and practices
  • Ability to work well with the public and make patients feel welcome and comfortable
  • Willingness to travel to satellite offices if necessary
  • Maintain appropriate Pharmaceutical license
  • Ability to work as a team with coworkers and providers
