Job Title: Chief Night Auditor

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Night Auditor to join our team at Avantic Lodging Enterprises.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee front desk operations during overnight shifts, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient check-in/check-out processes.
  • Conduct thorough night audits, reviewing financial transactions, and balancing reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Manage daily reports, including revenue summaries, cash handling, and security protocols, maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and collaborating with colleagues to address any concerns or issues.
  • Collaborate with Front Office staff to resolve guest complaints and provide exceptional customer service, promoting a positive and respectful work atmosphere.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to enhance our operations and services.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members on night audit procedures, promoting professional growth and development within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in hotel night auditing or a related role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with hotel management software systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on attention to detail and quality control.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
