We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banquet Porter to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Banquet Porter, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen work areas and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure kitchen floors are swept and mopped regularly to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
- Wash and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as other food preparation surfaces.
- Segregate and remove trash and garbage, and place it in designated containers.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation equipment.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, following safe lifting standards.
- Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup as needed.
- Load, unload, and deliver supplies and products.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as required.
- Comply with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
