Job Title: Sushi ChefJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at So Hospitality Group. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes for our guests while adhering to our recipes and maintaining a clean kitchen.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the management team to ensure proper food preparation and presentation.
- Prepare sushi rice with precision and consistency.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and handle restocking or prep work in a timely manner.
- Implement hygiene policies and safe food handling practices.
- Handle and properly store all ingredients and food.
- Maintain a clean kitchen and ensure that all opening and closing tasks are completed smoothly and thoroughly.
- Accommodate allergies, dietary needs, and special requests.
- Assist with catering and deliveries offsite.
- Follow all federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations outlined by management and the Employee Handbook.
- 18 years or older.
- High school or equivalent education.
- 2+ years professional kitchen experience preferred, sushi experience a plus.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including on-call, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
