We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at So Hospitality Group. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes for our guests while adhering to our recipes and maintaining a clean kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure proper food preparation and presentation.
  • Prepare sushi rice with precision and consistency.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and handle restocking or prep work in a timely manner.
  • Implement hygiene policies and safe food handling practices.
  • Handle and properly store all ingredients and food.
  • Maintain a clean kitchen and ensure that all opening and closing tasks are completed smoothly and thoroughly.
  • Accommodate allergies, dietary needs, and special requests.
  • Assist with catering and deliveries offsite.
  • Follow all federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations outlined by management and the Employee Handbook.
Requirements
  • 18 years or older.
  • High school or equivalent education.
  • 2+ years professional kitchen experience preferred, sushi experience a plus.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including on-call, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
