Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team at Holy Cross Health. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our dialysis program.
Responsibilities:
- Provide dialytic therapy to patients with acute renal failure or end-stage renal disease (ESRD)
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support outpatient hemodialysis on-site
- Educate patients about their disease, diet, and medications
- Complete pre and post-treatment physical assessments, documenting as required
- Monitor patients' lab results and adjust dialysis medications as needed per physician order
- Participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary team in all required patient assessment and care planning activities
Requirements:
- One or more years of current dialysis experience required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)
- Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse
- BLS certification; additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements
