Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including cameras, scanners, and other devices.
  • Position patients for optimal imaging results, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Develop and process radiographic images, including X-rays and fluoroscopy.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate imaging equipment, with minimal physical strain.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
