Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation and Quality Assurance: Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with corporate QP's and sanitation policies, maintaining accurate records and ensuring our programs meet the highest standards.
  • Support Operations: Provide administrative support to operations teams, ensuring the effective implementation of quality programs and protocols.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Collaborate with operations and quality departments to identify and resolve issues related to faulty products, consumer complaints, and sanitary design.
  • Leadership and Development: Lead the EHS department, including performance management, coaching, and employee development, creating a safe working environment for personnel.
  • Chemical Management: Work with chemical suppliers to provide training on chemical handling, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Pest Control and Hygiene: Act as site coordinator for pest control, investigating and implementing corrective actions when pest sightings exceed thresholds, and reviewing pest control documentation.
  • Technical Liaison: Serve as a technical liaison between factory personnel, sanitation chemical suppliers, corporate sanitation, and third-party sanitation providers, ensuring compliance with global standards.
  • Vendor Management: Manage outside contractors for cleaning, EHS supplies, and uniforms, tracking spend and managing purchase orders.
  • Process Improvement: Partner with business leaders to implement process improvements, including IL6S/SMED, leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED (required), Bachelor's degree in Science or Food Sanitation (preferred).
  • Skills: Project management, analytical and computer skills, verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Experience: Quality and sanitation experience, manufacturing experience, scientific grounding in food safety science, and leadership experience.
