Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a full range of laboratory tests, from simple blood tests to complex tests.
  • Assess specimens for correct handling and quality.
  • Confirm the accuracy of test results and report findings to physicians.
  • Operate complex electronic equipment, computers, and precision instruments.
  • Perform and evaluate quality control procedures.
  • Perform periodic maintenance and assist with the calibration of instruments.
  • Assist with the proper storage of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain competencies and continuing education to stay up-to-date on new developments in the field.
  • Assist in the proficiency testing program in the lab.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science.
  • No experience required.
