Key Responsibilities- Perform a full range of laboratory tests, from simple blood tests to complex tests.
- Assess specimens for correct handling and quality.
- Confirm the accuracy of test results and report findings to physicians.
- Operate complex electronic equipment, computers, and precision instruments.
- Perform and evaluate quality control procedures.
- Perform periodic maintenance and assist with the calibration of instruments.
- Assist with the proper storage of hazardous materials.
- Maintain competencies and continuing education to stay up-to-date on new developments in the field.
- Assist in the proficiency testing program in the lab.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science.
- No experience required.
