Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of the membership desk, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Process membership transactions, including sales, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of membership sales, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Collaborate with the campus recreation team to promote membership sales and retention.
  • Assist with special events and programs, including fitness classes, workshops, and tournaments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled as a student at Florida International University with a minimum of six (6) credits as an Undergraduate student or three (3) credits as a Graduate student during the Fall and Spring semesters.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales.
  • Knowledge of fitness and recreation programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
