We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Cardiology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols.
• Set up and adjust all imaging equipment, manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Perform routine and complex studies, assisting in various imaging procedures as needed.
• Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations to provide accurate diagnoses.
• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and submit high-quality images and documents to PACS in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage areas.

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech (CCI), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography (ARRT), Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS), Medical Sonographer (ARDMS), or Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac (CCI).
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
