Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this individual is responsible for overseeing the planning, procurement, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products to meet shift objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective production planning and scheduling strategies to optimize shift performance.
  • Monitor and address any deviations from production schedules, taking proactive measures to prevent disruptions.
  • Balance labor costs and machine requirements to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Lead and motivate a team of subordinates, fostering a culture of excellence and personal growth.
  • Ensure routine housekeeping and maintenance activities are carried out to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Plant Manager, supporting the overall success of the Alleguard team.

Qualifications

  • Proven knowledge of production processes and materials management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant vocational training or experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with a proven track record of success.

Physical Demands

  • The position may require periods of intense physical exertion in various environmental conditions.
  • The ability to stand, bend, and stretch for extended periods is essential.
  • Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.
