As a Lead Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the deployment, reliability, and performance of our systems utilized for building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and managing enterprise applications and web services.
In this capacity, you will spearhead technical initiatives in containerization and the deployment of applications across both private and public cloud environments.
To qualify, you should possess substantial and demonstrable experience in designing application infrastructure and automating operations. A strong understanding of how applications utilize infrastructure and familiarity with release cycles is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with application teams to architect and develop highly scalable and dependable infrastructure.
Work alongside application and infrastructure teams to orchestrate and automate application deployments.
Develop automation processes to facilitate self-service production deployments.
Code, configure, integrate, manage, and enhance various automation tools.
Collaborate with relevant team members and managers to enhance platform observability.
Engage in application and infrastructure release and deployment activities.
Required Education and Experience:
A combined minimum of 8 years of higher education and/or professional experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture.
A minimum of five years leading DevOps initiatives with expert proficiency in automated code deployments.
Thorough knowledge of domain and industry tools (CNCF, DevOps, CI/CD, Secrets Management, Container Registries).
Extensive experience deploying highly available applications in on-premises environments and Azure cloud.
Proven skills in writing Ansible playbooks for automation and constructing pipelines.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Familiarity with build, test, and deployment tools.
Experience with Source Control Management Systems.
Experience with container technologies and orchestration.
