Job Summary

Advir Health Care Systems is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Skilled Care Specialist. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Care: Supervise the LPN, CNA, and Direct Care Staff to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Support Resident Goals and Desires: Support individuals in attaining personal goals and desires, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Ensure Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of individuals, including turning and re-positioning bedridden individuals to prevent bedsores.
  • Documentation and Communication: Complete all progress notes and documentation before change of shift, and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications to individuals unable to self-administer, and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
  • Transportation and Community Activities: Transport residents as needed, and participate in community activities to promote socialization and engagement.
  • Food Preparation and Nutrition: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and support individuals with special diets.
  • Confidentiality and Boundaries: Maintain confidentiality and respect individuals' boundaries, adhering to our agency's policies and procedures.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Georgia, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience and Skills: 2+ years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months experience working in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility. Basic computer skills and fluency in the written and spoken English language.
  • Training and Competency: Meet all training requirements as specified by DBHDD, and demonstrate competency in nursing care and management.
