About the Role:

Schenectady Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to fill the position of Clinical Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor less experienced nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the unit and the achievement of departmental goals.
  • Monitor and review resident records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of care.
  • Represent the unit's interests and concerns to the upper-level management team.

Requirements:

  • Valid State RN License
  • 3 years Long Term Care Experience preferred
  • 2 years Charge Nurse experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
