Job Description: As a Homecare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to our clients, promoting their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with Daily Activities: Assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, and household management, ensuring their needs are met.
- Medication Management: Assist with medication reminders and management to ensure timely administration.
- Transportation: Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities, ensuring safe and reliable transportation.
- Hygiene and Dressing: Assist with personal hygiene tasks, dressing, and undressing, prioritizing client comfort and appropriateness.
- Lifting and Transferring: Assist with mobility, including walking, using stairs, and transferring from one place to another, ensuring client safety and comfort.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
- Skills and Qualities: Compassionate, patient, reliable, and able to follow detailed instructions.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and assisting with mobility.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
